10 InPost sorting centres in Poland in 2020

Further agreements with MLP Group
InPost has signed further agreements with MLP Group. As part of the cooperation, InPost will lease over 8.8 thousand sqm of space at the MLP Gliwice logistics park and over 8.6 thousand sqm at MLP Wrocław West. The sorting facility is scheduled to start operations in the second half of 2020.
In 2020, InPost will already have 10 sorting facilities and logistics centres at its disposal - four spaces from Panattoni Europe, the existing expanded central sorting facility at the P3 Piotrków warehouse park, two sorting facilities at the new 7R Park Sosnowiec and 7R Park Warszawa logistics parks, as well as modern facilities at the MLP Poznań West, MLP Gliwice and MLP Wrocław West logistics parks. InPost is planning further dynamic growth, which is why infrastructure expansion is necessary.

"We already have 6,000 Paczkomat® InPosts throughout Poland, and the volumes handled are growing well above the growth rate of the entire market. This is why we are creating an extensive logistics infrastructure that will enable us to reduce the delivery time of parcels to the recipient as much as possible. We pride ourselves on the fact that our parcels are delivered more than 98% of the time within the D+1 deadline - and this is a high bar even for well-organised courier companies. Customers choose InPost precisely because deliveries are fast and convenient," points out Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
Demand for InPost's services is growing steadily - the number of Paczkomaty® (6,000 machines in Poland) has exceeded the scale of the Polish Post Office's own outlets (4,600*).
"In September, we handed over the first facility of 8,800 sqm at the MLP Poznań West logistics park. Now we have extended our cooperation to other very convenient locations where the tenant intends to organise a new distribution centre. In total, we will deliver around 25,000 m2 of space in 2020. As in Poznań, the facilities in Gliwice and Wrocław will also be equipped with cross-dock space, dedicated, among other things, to efficient transhipment, picking and handling of courier deliveries . The extensive network of logistics parks owned by MLP Group gives our partners an excellent opportunity to organise their operations in all key regions of the country," - said Agnieszka Góźdź, Director of the Sales Department at MLP Group S.A.
"So far, the good cooperation with MLP and the locations of the investments were key issues for our client when making the decision. We are pleased that InPost's requirements regarding the delivery date of the facilities and their technical parameters were met by the developer," says Katarzyna Bojanowicz, Business Development Director in the industrial and warehouse space department at Cresa Polska.
