Please be advised that InPost NEVER sends text messages with information about surcharges, let alone external links. All billing information only appears in the Parcel Manager or on the invoice.

Phishing attacks directly affect companies in every industry. This also applies to the logistics industry and attempts at such attacks have been made against all courier operators in Poland. As a leader in the logistics market, we have very strict data protection regulations for our customers. At no time has there been a loss of personal data contained in our databases. However, we are aware that the problem exists. The main source of data used for phishing attacks are online shops and repeated leaks of personal data from these shops. Unfortunately, the databases lost by the shops show links between different services and accounts, with customers often using the same phone numbers and passwords for different services. Therefore, it may happen that there are phone numbers used by InPost customers in these databases. And such a person will receive a misleading SMS. We work closely with our customers and business partners and share our experience when it comes to data protection. However, we do not have any insight into how data is secured on the shopping pages of individual shops. We have repeatedly warned the public about such attacks and urged them to check carefully the messages they receive via SMS.
