How do I send a parcel via a Parcel Locker? More convenient than the post office, cheaper than a courier

Would you like to send a gift to your children, grandchildren or a friend in another town? Don’t worry – sending a parcel via a Parcel Locker is easier than you think. You don’t need to ask a neighbour for help.

Before you go to the Parcel Locker – create a consignment

You don’t need a printer or a label. Simply pack the items you want to send, then create a shipment:

• via the website Szybkienadania.pl ,
• in the app InPost Mobile select “Donate or return” , and then “Broadcast” .

Send a parcel step by step

Step 1. Select your delivery method

You have two options to choose from: Parcel Locker-Parcel Locker or Parcel Locker - Home . The first option means that the recipient will collect the parcel from the specified Paczkomat parcel locker. The second option means that, once dispatched by Paczkomat, the parcel will be delivered to the recipient’s door by courier.

Step 2. Select the parcel size

The size determines which locker you put the parcel in:

• Mini – 4 x 23 x 40 cm, up to 3 kg (available only via the InPost Mobile app),
• Small – 8 x 38 x 64 cm,
• Average – 19 x 38 x 64 cm,
• Large – 41 x 38 x 64 cm.

The maximum weight of a parcel is 25 kg.

Step 3. Enter the recipient’s and sender’s details

Please enter the recipient’s full name, telephone number and email address, followed by your own details. Please check that everything is correct.

Step 4. Pay for the shipment

You can choose from a range of convenient payment methods: bank transfer, debit or credit card, BLIK, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Step 5. Make a note of the tracking number

The code consists of 9 digits. It will be displayed once you have paid for the parcel. You will need it to open the parcel locker.

Instead of sticking on a label, you can write the tracking number in a visible place on the parcel using a marker.

Step 6. Send your parcel via any Parcel Locker

Go to the machine and open the compartment. There are three ways to do this:

• type on the screen 9-digit tracking code ,
• Open the app and scan the code below the screen QR code ,
• Open the app, select the shipment details and tap the button “Open the safe remotely” . If you are within 10 metres of the device, the compartment should open automatically.

Place the parcel inside and close the door. That's it!

• The parcel locker is working around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• The following is available in Poland over 28,000 Paczkomat parcel lockers. You can find your nearest drop-off and collection point on the website inpost.pl/find-a-parcel-locker .
• A parcel sent via a parcel locker by around 1 pm usually reaches the recipient the next working day .
• Don’t have the InPost Mobile app? You can download for free from official shops: Google Play (for Android phones) or App Store (for iOS devices).
• Using Paczkomat machines is safe . Each device is monitored 24 hours a day, access to the lockers is secure, and every parcel is insured.
