11 September 2015
The initiative aims to promotion of cashless payment upon receipt of parcels from selected online shops Due to great consumer interest, the holiday campaign has been extended until 14 September. The project's partners included such brands as Answear, Endo, bdsklep.pl, garneczki.pl, NaszeZoo.pl and Nexterio.
"Non-cash transactions " cash on delivery " are a great convenience for consumers in the online shopping process. We are confident that the payment model we offer will gradually be implemented by more e-commerce platforms in the country. Free delivery to Paczkomaty® InPost and the possibility of making a cashless payment upon receipt of the parcel are a guarantee for customers of the safety of their online purchases. This is confirmed by the success of our campaign " - comments Maciej Padjas, Marketing Director of Integer.pl Group
Market data shows that, against the background of Western European countries, the Polish e-commerce market, with the share of cards in e-purchase payments at the level of 7%, shows a huge potential for growth.1 Interestingly, lower delivery costs are an argument inducing even one in three Internet users to purchase a specific product online.2 As confirmed by the statistics on the action, it is also a good way to not only increase interest in the e-store offer, but at the same time to encourage customers to pay their dues cashless, at the time of delivery.
There are currently more than 4800 Paczkomat® machines operating in Poland, all with built-in payment card acceptors. This enables payments to be made in the same way as in traditional shops. The Paczkomat® network was expanded by a further 250 locations compared to the end of 2014. The decision to expand is due to the growing needs of the inhabitants of smaller towns and cities, who are more and more willing to use the e-commerce offer and aims to provide them with the possibility of collecting parcels 24/7. The Integer.pl Group intends to continue the expansion and plans to increase the network to 1,700 Paczkomaty® by the end of 2015.
The top quality of Integer.pl Group's services is also confirmed by other awards: Polish internet users have honoured InPost three times - a company that is part of the Integer.pl S.A. Capital Group. - with the Ekomersy award in the category " Best product/service to support e-commerce logistics ". The company's innovativeness was recognised by, among others, the weekly WPROST with the title " Innovator of the Year 2014 " and won the competition " Leader in Emerging Technologies " organised by the Institute of New Technologies. Integer.pl Group also received a Special Award in the competition "Polish Company - International Champion" for the dynamic expansion and promotion of Poland abroad. The consistent development of the company is also confirmed by the title "Gazelles of Business" awarded by Puls Biznesu to the most dynamically developing Polish companies.
