From the 2024–2025 season, InPost will be sponsoring the legendary Spanish football club

The InPost Group, Europe’s leading e-commerce delivery platform, has become the new Official Partner of Atlético Madrid – a top club in Spain’s LaLiga. InPost is also an Official Partner of the British football club Newcastle United, the Tour de France – the world’s biggest cycling race – and a Strategic Sponsor of the Polish national football team. Furthermore, as part of the InPost Sport Team project, InPost sponsors Polish Olympians, led by Natalia Kaczmarek and Wojciech Nowicki.

Spain is one of the InPost Group’s fastest-growing markets, with over 8,000 OOH collection points. In the first quarter of 2024, the number of InPost points in Spain rose by 87 per cent year-on-year. The partnership with Atlético Madrid, which has millions of supporters across the country, will enable the Group to strengthen local awareness of the InPost brand.

Atlético Madrid – a club with a history stretching back over a century – will be playing in the UEFA Champions League for the twelfth consecutive season this year – an achievement on a par with Europe’s finest teams. Atlético Madrid have won 10 different football trophies over the past 12 years – a testament to the ambition of a team that never gives up and bases its success on hard work and perseverance. Atlético Madrid is also a symbol of Spanish football, competing in the world’s strongest league – LaLiga

I am proud that we have become an Official Partner of Atlético Madrid. Hard work, commitment and determination – these are the qualities we share. The expansion of the InPost Group’s sponsorship portfolio to include a partnership with one of the world’s top football clubs confirms our ambitions for further growth and expansion. I believe that, thanks to this partnership, millions more Spanish football fans will fall in love with InPost’s delivery services – he says Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of the InPost Group.

This agreement marks the next step in the implementation of a well-thought-out sponsorship strategy aimed at raising brand awareness and driving business growth in European markets. As an international company with Polish roots, we are proud that a club such as Atlético is joining the InPost Group’s sporting partners, alongside the Tour de France and Newcastle United – he adds Marek Szkolnikowski, Director of Sports Sponsorship at the InPost Group.

We are delighted to welcome the InPost Group into our sporting family. If there is one thing that defines us, it is the fact that we are able to swim against the tide to make our dreams come true – we are true fighters. We believe that InPost is the ideal partner to accompany us in the coming seasons, as we fight to stay at the top and win more titles, doing so in a different way to the rest – with humility, professionalism and relentless hard work – he comments Óscar Mayo, COO of Atlético Madrid.

Under the sponsorship agreement, InPost will have its Paczkomat® machines on display at the legendary Civitas Metropolitano stadium. Advertisements for the brand will be shown during matches both on the pitch on LED screens and off the pitch during LaLiga fixtures, and will also be visible in the fan zone beneath the stadium. Furthermore, InPost will become the official supplier to the Atlético shop – fans will be able to collect their purchases, including new-season shirts, from the Paczkomat network and PUDO collection points. Users will also gain access to special promotions, giving them the chance to meet their favourite players or take part in exclusive events.

As part of the agreement and both companies’ commitment to sustainable development, InPost and Atlético Madrid will establish a Sustainability Council. The Council will develop a joint strategy to achieve best practices focused on sustainable development. This initiative is consistent with the InPost Group’s ESG strategy.
