InPost parcel machines® the highlight of the Click&Collect Show in the USA

Paczkomaty® InPost - after intensive expansion in Europe - is increasingly boldly conquering the North American market. Soon, the innovative terminals enabling self-sending and receiving of parcels will be available to Canadian customers. The capabilities of the latest generation of devices will also be showcased in the USA at the Click&Collect Show in Atlanta on 8-9 April. The North American market still has the least saturation in terms of click&collect solutions, which are so successfully conquering the European e-commerce delivery sector.

Click&Collect Show USA 2015 will bring together the most important representatives of the e-commerce market. A number of speakers from the industry are scheduled during the show, including companies such as Birchbox - the largest online beauty retailer, Hello Fresh - an online grocery shopping platform, and Swipbox - the Danish leader in logistics services. Among the speakers who will take part in the event is Tony Jasinski, CEO of InPost Canada. On 8 April, he will lead a seminar on 'Simplifying the future of 24/7 delivery using automated terminals'. The main topic of the talk will be the 'last mile' problem and how to solve it. The potential of InPost's Parcel Machines® in delivering fast and convenient deliveries to e-commerce customers will also be presented.

"The upcoming trade fair is an excellent opportunity for us to present the next generation of Parcel Machines® in the United States. Our terminals are being systematically deployed in Canada and we are also in talks with numerous partners in this market. Prospectively, we are planning to expand our operations in North America and are therefore taking steps to present ourselves to the US market - the world's largest e-commerce giant next to China. Online sales are extremely popular in the USA, but there is still a lack of solutions to guarantee secure delivery of shipments. Parcels are still left behind by couriers on the premises, making them vulnerable to damage and even theft. Our Parcel Machines® - available 24/7 - will completely negate this problem, allowing customers to safely receive their parcels at any time of the day or night. We are confident that our participation in the event will further strengthen our expansion into the North American market " - says Rafał Brzoska, CEO of Integer.pl Group, the owner of the Paczkomat® InPost network.

In terms of the volume of online product sales, the US maintains its position as one of the global leaders. According to a study by Forrester analysts, e-commerce there already accounts for 9% of the value of total domestic retail sales, and the value of online purchases made by US citizens in 2014 amounted to US$294 billion1. According to forecasts, the US e-commerce market will continue to grow at a dynamic double-digit rate. It is estimated to reach USD 493.89 billion by 20182.

"Advanced technologies and the automation of click&collect networks are the main tools of the e-commerce sector that are dynamically expanding their reach. InPost parcel machines® are the best proof of this - in a very short time they have conquered a number of countries on five continents. Today's consumers need greater flexibility in terms of when and where they can collect their parcels. Our devices meet their expectations to the highest degree". - Tony Jasinski, CEO of InPost Canada, adds.

Delivery via Paczkomat® InPost is currently enabled by nearly 6,500 e-shops worldwide (including Merlin, MediaMarkt, Saturn, Answear.com) and 30,000 sellers offering their products on Allegro. According to a study conducted by the Integer.pl Group, a total of over 20 million customers have already used Paczkomaty® InPost, and 98% of parcels are ready for collection within 24 hours of posting. As many as 98% of users declare their willingness to use the service again, and 97% of them recommend them to their friends.

In 2014, Paczkomaty® broke records for popularity in Poland. The number of parcels sent increased by 90.5% compared to the previous year, and the average person ordered 17% more parcels than the year before. The research also confirms that the record for deliveries in 1 day from a single Paczkomaty® InPost in December 2014 was 512 parcels, an average of every 2.8 minutes.

Paczkomaty® InPost already operate on 5 continents, including countries such as the UK, France, Italy, Poland, Ireland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Colombia, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Around 4,000 Parcel Machines® are in operation - in various business models - around the world. The company plans to install a further 6,000 terminals across Europe, Asia, the Americas, as well as in the Middle East.

The highest quality of Integer.pl Group's services is confirmed by awards: for the third time, Polish Internet users have honoured InPost with the Ekomersy award in the 'Best product/service supporting e-commerce logistics' category. The company's innovativeness was recognised, among others, by the WPROST weekly with the title 'Innovator of the Year 2014' and it won the 'Leader of Modern Technologies' competition organised by the Institute of New Technologies. Integer.pl Group also received a Special Award in the "Polish Company - International Champion" competition for its dynamic expansion and promotion of Poland abroad. The consistent development of the company is also confirmed by the title "Gazelles of Business" awarded by Puls Biznesu to the most dynamically developing Polish companies.

InPost's international recognition is evidenced by numerous awards: the title of 'Supplier of the Year' at Post Expo 2014, winning the prestigious World Mail Award four times between 2010 and 2013, the Delivery Excellence Award 2014 in the category: "Best Carrier Contribution to Delivery Innovation", which Paczkomaty® InPost received 2014 in the UK, or the Postal Technology International Award in the 'Retail Innovation of the Year' category for 'Innovation of the Year'.
