It is therefore no surprise that we have accepted the proposal and We have also decided to cooperate on Allegro Smart! - a new project for the largest e-commerce platform in Poland. I believe that this will be a new quality on the Polish e-commerce market, and at the same time we give to this service our unique quality with the percentage of deliveries on the second day after shipment at the level of 97% - no one on the market has this." - Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost, said.

We are cited by 88% of internet users as a brand they are familiar with [1] . According to a study by Kantar TNS, Internet users appreciate the guarantee of parcel delivery, timeliness, innovation, use of modern mobile solutions, easy contact, flexible and attractively priced offer, minimum formalities and simple and clear rules of cooperation. As many as 45% of respondents indicate that they like our brand.

InPost's cooperation with Allegro may also encourage customers who have so far either rarely or never bought online - especially people from smaller towns and cities, which is where InPost is currently focusing.

"We deploy up to several dozen Parcel Machines® every week, mainly in smaller towns and cities - so that the vast majority of Polish residents have a Parcel Machine® around the proverbial corner. We currently have 3,800 Parcel Machines® in Poland." - underlined Brzoska .

By the end of the year we want to have as many as 4,500 Parcel Machines throughout Poland . Between January and July 2018, InPost delivered 39.5 million parcels, an increase of 47% year-on-year - of which Parcel Machines® recorded an increase of 46% and courier InPost by 48%.

According to the Gemius E-commerce in Poland 2018 report :

  • InPost parcel machines are the second most popular form of delivery for online purchases, after courier deliveries, indicated by as many as 48% of respondents
  • InPost Kurier maintained last year's third place among the most popular courier companies in Poland. It overtook, among others, Pocztex (Poczta Polska) and global giants such as GLS, UPS and FedEx. InPost's courier services recorded a 4 percentage point increase in indications compared to 2017, which is quite an achievement in such a competitive market

The percentage of people who are motivated to make purchases thanks to Parcel Machines® among the forms of delivery is also increasing - it is now 55% (an increase of 5 percentage points year-on-year) .

In 2017 we realised:

  • 60 million packets
  • 51% increase in volume of shipments to InPost Parcel Machines® year-on-year
  • 55% increase in volume of InPost courier parcels and mini parcels year-on-year
  • during the Christmas peak, volume growth for Paczkomaty® deliveries was 67% and for courier deliveries a record 94.5%, totalling 10 million items
