We already have 3,000 Parcel Machines in Poland
28 May 2018
We have erected the three-thousandth Parcel Machine in Mielno, at 4 Wojska Polskiego Street, and this means that there are now as many as 290,000 boxes available for e-commerce customers in Poland.
„ In terms of the share of Paczkomaty in e-commerce service, Poland is unique in the world, and Paczkomaty are constantly increasing their market share. At times of peak demand for services, utilisation of the entire network reaches 100%, hence the decision to accelerate investment in its development. We are consistently pursuing this strategy, also focusing on smaller towns, which have huge - in my opinion underestimated - potential." - said Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of Integer.pl Group, owner of the InPost brand.
„ Not a week goes by without us receiving requests from towns and cities all over Poland to erect a new or next Parcel Machine®. Our facility in Zabierzów near Kraków is working non-stop to fulfil all orders". - Rafał Brzoska emphasises.
Brzoska adds that Paczkomat® has permanently outclassed postal deliveries and is the second most popular way of delivering purchases for the e-commerce sector.
"By erecting the three thousandth Paczkomat®, we have not said our last word. Our investment process to meet the demand for these modern logistics services is still ongoing," Rafał Brzoska points out.
According to the Gemius report: E-commerce in Poland in 2017 - Paczkomaty® InPost is the second, after deliveries courier , the most popular delivery method for online shopping. In 2017, it was chosen by 22 % of customers, compared to 11 % in 2015. Parcel machines have thus outclassed postal delivery, which was chosen by 21 % in 2015 and already by only 13 % of online shoppers in 2017.
Importantly, 50% of Polish e-commerce customers now identify Paczkomat® InPost as the delivery method that motivates them to shop online, compared to 41% just two years ago.
