InPost's central sorting facility in the P3 Piotrków warehouse park will be larger by more than 3,000 m²

InPost has been present in the P3 Piotrków park since 2009. After the expansion it will have at its disposal 80 docks and 7 gates from level "0". The extension of the area will also make it possible to install a further - third - sorter. This will increase volumes handled and employment by 20%. InPost was represented in the transaction by international consultancy Cushman & Wakefield.

"We are developing our infrastructure very intensively - not only in terms of new Parcel Machine locations ® InPost. Our state-of-the-art logistics facilities mean that we are one of the few operators to be able to deliver parcels so reliably in D+1 mode. Three new sorting centres and a significant expansion of our central hub are the answer to the exponentially increasing volumes of parcels handled. We are also investing heavily in technology, mobile applications, a fleet of electric cars and offering innovative services - such as BankPacket and grocery delivery. This is why customers are increasingly pointing to InPost as the best operator on the Polish market." - Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, said.

"The growth dynamics in the courier services market is exceeding forecasts and even the most optimistic assumptions. This is largely a consequence of the growth of e-commerce sales. In addition, the Parcel Machines service, which is very popular among online shoppers, translates into InPost's building infrastructure needs. The expansion of the central sorting facility is a natural consequence of this." - she added Joanna Sinkiewicz, Partner, Head of Industrial and Logistics Space, Cushman & Wakefield.

"I am delighted that the excellent location of the P3 Piotrków park in Central Poland makes customers want to stay here, develop and expand the space they occupy. Once again, we have met the requirements of our long-standing partner and offered flexible solutions to make the best use of the additional space and fully integrate it into the existing building." - emphasised Piotr Bzowski, Leasing & Development Director P3 Logistic Parks w Polsce.

P3 Piotrków is one of the largest warehouse parks located in the Central Poland region. The investment, which covers 120 ha, will ultimately offer 500,000 m² of usable area. P3 Piotrków is located in Wola Bykowska, near Piotrków Trybunalski, at the planned junction connecting the A1 motorway/E75 European route and the S8 motorway. The investment is tailored to the needs of logistics, trade and light manufacturing.
