10 benefits couriers gain in #TeamInPost - why join us?
16 September 2020
They are fast, agile and well-organised. They start their day very early – usually with a morning coffee, which gives them a boost, although they’re naturally full of energy anyway. Although their job may seem to be simply transporting parcels from A to B, they actually do much more than that, and we particularly appreciate the importance of their work during this difficult period of the pandemic. Couriers, as they are known, are members of a profession that deserves a broader perspective in order to fully appreciate the importance of their work. It is they who, day in, day out, provide shoppers with exceptional convenience by delivering parcels containing their dream gifts or essential everyday items. Whether eagerly awaited or essential, couriers deliver parcels to recipients’ homes or to Parcel Lockers, from which customers can collect them conveniently and securely at any time of the day or night, regardless of the weather or other variables. At InPost, we value the dedication of our couriers, which is why we offer them a range of additional benefits. You probably don’t all know this, but there are actually quite a few of them. In this post, we’ve decided to introduce you to the most important ones – from our couriers’ point of view, of course, as they were created with them in mind!

Meet the #TeamInPost courier’s ‘Top 10’!
-
Quality bonuses
At our company, hard work and excellent performance are rewarded with additional cash vouchers.
"I like the fact that every month I can count on an extra bonus for a job well done. Obviously, vouchers like these, which I can use in practically any shop, always come in handy!"
Mariusz, an InPost courier
-
Vouchers for tests taken
We place great importance on ensuring that our couriers have a thorough understanding of their work, which is why, every month, those who achieve the best results in our ongoing assessments receive cash vouchers. Here’s another chance to earn an extra bonus on your withdrawal!
-
Referral vouchers
“I had a friend who was looking for a job at the time. He’s the sort of person who likes to be constantly on the go, so I suggested he try his hand at being a courier. Intrigued, he agreed to the suggestion, even though he had no previous experience in the industry. I recommended him to InPost – as it turned out later, with positive results. This month marks six months since he started efficiently delivering parcels to Parcel Lockers, and thanks to my recommendation, we’ve both benefited. He’s got a job that suits his temperament, and I’ve got some extra cash!”
Krzysiek, an InPost courier
We realise that it’s not easy to find a good employee. At the same time, we know that the best advertisement encouraging people to work at InPost is our couriers and their conviction about it. We reward referrals from friends to work with us in the form of cash vouchers. It’s a win-win for everyone!
-
Machinery disposal incentive
Here’s another chance to earn some extra cash! Every month, every courier has the chance to earn a bonus for delivering parcels quickly and efficiently to Parcel Lockers in their regions. Working more efficiently is rewarded with an extra bonus for courier!
-
Multisport passes
“I get plenty of exercise at work, but it’s not quite the sort of exercise that fully satisfies me. I love spending my free time actively; I keep myself in shape by working out at the gym and use the diet plans available on the Multisport online portal. And after a hard day, to unwind, I pop into the sauna. That’s my time to relax. I’m glad I don’t have to pay the full price for a membership. I can use the Multisport card on quite reasonable terms, so that’s a big plus!”
Kasia, an InPost courier
We want our couriers to look after their health, which is why we’ve negotiated special terms for using Multisport cards. After all, a healthy body means a healthy mind!
-
Insurance – life insurance (AXA) and health insurance (PZU)
The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. We offer our couriers the most affordable life insurance package on the market, as well as access to an extensive network of medical care through PZU health insurance.
-
Gifts for Courier Day
“What’s so great about being a courier? Well, for a start, we have our own special day! That’s right – 29 September, because that’s Courier Day, when we get gifts from the company and messages of goodwill from the Board. Best of all, the parcels contain really useful gadgets that I use every day. We recently got some great smartwatches – now I know how many steps I take each day! So this celebration certainly makes work more enjoyable.”,
Zbyszek, an InPost courier
Courier Day is a special occasion for our industry. At #TeamInPost, it’s always a chance to offer our heartfelt thanks and sincere best wishes. We also give each of our couriers practical gifts to make the day even more enjoyable for them.

Bonuses for working during the peak parcel season
“The busiest time of year for a courier? Definitely from early November right up to Christmas. Black Friday, St Nicholas’ Day gifts, or Christmas itself… People are ordering more and more online, and there’s a huge number of parcels to deliver. There’s a huge amount of work, and we have to keep up the pace, because the closer it gets to Christmas, the more we turn into, you could say, Santa Clauses, so those presents have to be delivered. Luckily, we can look forward to Christmas bonuses ourselves. It’s great that the company recognises our hard work during this busy period and gives us extra bonuses. It’s always extra motivation, a nice gesture, and the money will certainly come in handy at this time of year!”
Krystian, InPost courier
We know just how hard our couriers work, especially during the peak parcel season. At such times, we always give them extra pay – so that they feel rewarded for working with us!
-
Hot coffee or tea from a vending machine
A minor thing? Try starting a cold or rainy day without a hot drink! At #TeamInPost, we look after our couriers and do our utmost to make their working environment as comfortable as possible. We realise that a morning coffee or tea in winter is an essential ‘starter’, and indeed a necessity – for both body and soul! :) That’s exactly why we’ve introduced a scheme offering free access to these drinks from the vending machines located in our branches.
Size does matter – an added bonus: small and lightweight parcels
Another advantage that is definitely worth highlighting is the fact that InPost couriers deliver the smallest and lightest parcels in the entire courier market. And by delivering parcels to Parcel Lockers, they can organise their work even more efficiently – not only do they carry relatively light and small parcels, but they also deliver them to a specific locker rather than to dozens of homes.

Why would you recommend working at InPost? We asked our couriers!
We always value our employees’ feedback greatly, which is why this spring we conducted a survey asking couriers from #TeamInPost about the most important issues relating to their work. This allowed us not only to understand their feelings and opinions, but also to make every effort to meet their stated needs in the future.
Are you curious to know how they answered the question: “Why would you recommend working at InPost?””
- “A great atmosphere, interesting people and good money,”
- “This is a company that is constantly growing and offers opportunities for personal development to couriers and carriers. In my opinion, it is the most courier-friendly company on the market,”
- “Fair pay, a clear and straightforward contract, regular pay, flexible working hours”
To sum up, here are the three answers that came up most often!
- Good atmosphere/people.
- InPost is a company with a solid foundation and a strong market position.
- I'm quite happy with my salary.

We are delighted that our couriers appreciate working at InPost and also highlight aspects such as the positive working atmosphere. This seemingly trivial factor is often one of the cornerstones of good communication, successful collaboration and, ultimately, job satisfaction – even if, as in any job, there are bad days or more demanding customers.

If you’ve made it this far, we’re confident we’ve sparked at least a little interest in you regarding a courier role. If so, be sure to check out our current vacancies. Perhaps we’re looking for you? Or maybe a friend of yours is currently looking for a job?
