The InPost Action service was introduced thanks to the cooperation with two experts well-known in the world of payments: Mastercard and eCard S.A. Thanks to them, we have equipped our couriers from all over Poland with 2.5 thousand contactless payment terminals (mPOS), which make it possible to pay for parcels cashlessly directly on delivery.
Comfortable, safe and... even faster!
With contactless terminals, you can make payment for your courier delivery in seconds - without running to an ATM, borrowing change from a neighbour or changing money at the last minute.
A new way of paying not only reduces collection time at the hands of courier but also provides greater security of transactions . Conveniently and securely, you can now also pay on delivery for expensive products - without having to accumulate a large sum of money at home or at the workplace (and we know from experience that you often order cash on delivery for computers or expensive photographic equipment, for example).
In addition, all recipients of InPost parcels will benefit from the new payment method. thanks to more efficient transactions, our couriers will be able to deliver more parcels at the same time!
How does it work?
- The shipment order itself remains unchanged. As always, do your shopping in the e-shop and select the InPost delivery option Cash on delivery courier .
- You will be contacted by our courier before InPost attempts to deliver your cash on delivery - he will confirm that he has a terminal and inform you that you can pay by card.
- Pay for your parcel at your convenience - by cash or card. It's easy and works exactly the same as in stationary shops. You bring your card close to the reader and, if necessary, confirm the transaction with a PIN code (compulsory for orders over 50 PLN).
- Pick up your parcel and enjoy your order! We will traditionally send an acknowledgement of receipt of the parcel to your email address.
Payment in the InPost Action service can be made using any payment card (debit or credit) traditional and contactless. Those who prefer mobile payments can also pay for their parcel with their smartphone (for devices equipped with the bank's mobile payment app or the Android Pay app).
