InPost launches same-day service package

InPost launches same-day parcel deliveries under the trade name Local Courier in 9 cities in Poland: Warsaw, Krakow, Wrocław, Łódź, Katowice, Poznań, Gdańsk, Szczecin and Rzeszów. The service will be available only to InPost customers and is specifically tailored to the needs of e-commerce shippers who care about speed of delivery. The price for same-day delivery starts from £16.35.

Same day is another InPost service dedicated specifically to e-commerce senders. With a single operator, it will now be possible to order the widest range of logistics services in Poland: from registered e-commerce letter through InPost Courier and Local Courier to Paczkomaty ® InPost. This is a huge convenience for e-commerce shippers as they do not have to sign several contracts for different services, but cover their entire logistics needs with one operator." - Sebastian Anioł, CEO of InPost S.A., said.
Same day courier delivery
The Local Courier service is door-to-door and offered in three categories. Standard - guaranteed delivery time of 5 hours, Express - up to 2 hours and Super Express - whose delivery time is limited only by the distance between the sender and the receiver. The service is available within the administrative borders of 9 Polish cities and in Zone II covering towns and cities up to 30 km from these borders.
"We are launching in nine cities for now, but ultimately we want to be present with same-day services in all major Polish cities, i.e. where our biggest e-commerce customers are," adds Sebastian Anioł.
InPost provides postal and courier services for individual and business customers - as the only operator in Poland to provide a comprehensive and complementary range of logistics services 'under one roof'. Thanks to the conclusion of an agreement by Allegro and InPost on strategic cooperation in the delivery of products ordered online, e-sellers have the option of using the services: Allegro Kurier InPost, Allegro Paczkomaty InPost and Allegro Polecony InPost. In all of these options, customers are guaranteed to be able to return the ordered product free of charge.
The operator's offer is complemented by also a wide range of modern solutions, including those dedicated to the courier sector: Dynamic Parcel Redirection and sending parcels from Allegro in Parcel Machines® InPost . It is free option through which the customer can pick up the order at a self-designated Parcel Machine® InPost or at a selected Customer Service Point . The service is a convenience created for e-entrepreneurs processing a small daily number of orders, who care about adjusting the parcel delivery date to their work timeframe. On the other hand, the option of sending parcels from Allegro in Paczkomaty® InPost allows you to send courier parcels at any time using one of more than 1800 conveniently located Paczkomaty® InPost machines in Poland. The solution allows for fast and efficient order processing without waiting for the parcels to be collected by an InPost employee.
InPost is also expanding its Customer Service Point infrastructure throughout Poland. The Network Development Division was set up specifically for this purpose, with the task of adapting the POK network for services dedicated to e-commerce. Thanks to the measures taken, it will be even better adapted to the sending of letters, courier and parcel post.
