InPost parcel machines®: record year 2014

Statistics for Parcel Machines® InPost in 2014:

• Increase in parcels by 90.5% compared to 2013, 11% more on average per month
• Compared to 2012, parcel growth exceeded 440%
• As many as 91.4% more parcels in December 2014 compared to December 2013 and 67% more compared to November 2014
• The record for dispensing in 1 day from a single InPost Parcel Machine® in December 2014 was 512 parcels, an average of every 2.8 minutes

In 2014, payment card readers were installed in all Paczkomat® InPost machines, a significant proportion of which allow contactless payments. A service called QuickZwroty.pl was also launched for the fast and convenient sending or returning of goods to online shops.

In turn, in November, Integer.pl Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Allegro. As a result, every e-tailer can now add new options in the shipping options: Allegro Parcel Machines ® InPost (PLN 7.99) and Allegro Polecony InPost (PLN 3.94). This is the cheapest form of delivery available - for both registered letter and parcel. In each of these options, customers are guaranteed a free return of the purchased goods.

Delivery via Paczkomat® InPost is currently enabled by nearly 6,500 e-shops worldwide (including Merlin, MediaMarkt, Saturn, Gandalf.com.pl, Answear.com) and 30,000 sellers offering their products on Allegro. According to a study by the Integer.pl Group, a total of over 20 million customers have already used Paczkomaty® InPost, and 98% of parcels are ready for collection within 24 hours of posting. As many as 98% of users declare their willingness to use the service again, and 97% of them recommend them to their friends.

Paczkomaty® InPost already operate on 5 continents, including countries such as the UK, France, Italy, Poland, Ireland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Colombia, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. More than 3,500 Parcel Machines® are in operation - in various business models - around the world. The company plans to install a further 6,000 terminals across Europe, Asia, the Americas, as well as in the Middle East.

The top quality of InPost's services is confirmed by awards: for the third time, Polish Internet users honoured InPost with the Ekomersy award in the category 'Best product/service supporting e-commerce logistics'. The company's innovation was recognised by the weekly WPROST with the title 'Innovator of the Year 2014'.
