Paczkomaty® InPost - the only Polish brand nominated for the Engage Awards 2015!
25 May 2015
Paczkomaty ® InPost - the world's largest network of automated terminals enabling 24/7 self-service parcel delivery and collection - have been nominated for an award at the Engage Awards 2015 in the Socially Devoted category. The competition is open to some of the world's biggest brands, which in the previous year had demonstrated particularly advanced communication with consumers in the social media channel - this year's winners included such well-known players as the Lego Group, Lamborghini and Pilsner Urquell. The jury appreciated the activity of Paczkomaty® InPost for effectively "adapting activities to the changing nature of customer service". The awards and prizes were presented at the Engage Awards 2015 gala in Prague, accompanied by a 2-day workshop on the effective use of social media in consumer relations.
The Engage Awards were presented for the first time ever. The initiative aims to recognise companies that have demonstrated best practice in the use of social media in the business environment and during customer realignment over the past year. The competition is organised by Socialbakers.com, a leading provider of analytical tools to support the activities - particularly of businesses - in social media.
"We are the only brand in Poland to be among the nominees for an extremely prestigious award, which is sought by the largest companies from all over the world. This is confirmation that not only Paczkomaty itself ® InPost - with its innovation and pro-consumer attitude - meets the expectations of the vast majority of online shoppers. This means that our communication in the area of modern media is also extremely effective. In this way, we are once again blazing a trail for other Polish companies and confirming our status as one of the country's most important innovators. This is particularly gratifying given that social media is not, after all, our core business, yet its level is considered to be one of the highest in the world." - comments Maciej Padjas, Marketing Director of Paczkomaty® InPost.
The presentation of the nominations for the 2015 Engage Awards was accompanied by workshops on social media. These were led by experienced professionals who use social media extensively and every day to engage with customers and business partners. The training sessions and seminars included experts employed by some of the world's biggest brands, such as Disney, Lego Group, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Publicis.
Paczkomaty® InPost are already operating on 5 continents, including countries such as the UK, France, Italy, Poland, Ireland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Colombia, Canada, Australia and Saudi Arabia. By the end of 2015, more than 5,000 InPost Parcel Machines® will be available - in various business models - around the world. The company plans to install a further 4,000 terminals across Europe, Asia, the Americas, as well as in the Middle East and Africa.
There are already more than 1,300 Paczkomats® InPost in Poland - the network was expanded by 200 locations compared to the end of 2014. The decision to expand is due to the growing needs of the inhabitants of smaller towns and cities, who are more and more willing to use the e-commerce offer and aims to provide them with the possibility of collecting parcels 24/7. The Integer.pl Group intends to continue the expansion and will install a total of 600 new terminals in 2015.
The highest quality of Integer.pl Group's services is also confirmed by other awards: for the third time, Polish Internet users awarded InPost - a Group company - with the Ekomersy award in the category 'Best product/service supporting e-commerce logistics'. The company's innovativeness was recognised, among others, by the WPROST weekly with the title of 'Innovator of the Year 2014' and won in the 'Leader of Modern Technologies' competition organised by the Institute of New Technologies. Integer.pl Group also received a Special Award in the "Polish Company - International Champion" competition for its dynamic expansion and promotion of Poland abroad. The consistent development of the company is also confirmed by the title "Gazelles of Business" awarded by Puls Biznesu to the most dynamically developing Polish companies.
InPost has also received numerous international accolades: the title of 'Supplier of the Year' at Post Expo 2014, winning the prestigious World Mail Award four times between 2010 and 2013, 'The Delivery Excellence Award 2014' in the category: "Best Carrier Contribution to Delivery Innovation", which Paczkomaty® InPost received 2014 in the UK, or the Postal Technology International Award in the 'Retail Innovation of the Year' category for 'Innovation of the Year'.
