Radio Kraków apologises to InPost
20 March 2019
Radio Kraków apologises for publishing unverified and untrue information about InPost:
"Radio Kraków apologises to InPost for misrepresenting that it has leaked data and has "documented information on more than 7,400,000 parcels. Each order shows personal data such as a phone number, email address, often made up of first and last name and - in many cases - the exact address of the recipient and sender." - Radio Krakow was not and is not in possession of such data."
On 18-19.03.2019, during the update of the Parcel Manager application ( https://manager.paczkomaty.pl ), an incident was identified relating to the display to some users of the application of information relating to shipments that had not been sent by the currently logged-in user. The incident affected 0.04% of the users closely identified by us. The incidents occurred periodically and were of short duration. The data covered the range that senders provided on the service.
Appropriate preventive action was taken immediately by the IT teams. A solution was also immediately put in place to prevent access to shipment information. In accordance with Integer.pl Group's standard personal data security procedure, the incident was reported to the Personal Data Protection Office.
We kindly ask you not to disseminate unverified information regarding the above event. Any deliberate reproduction and commentary of unverified data, we will be forced to take the appropriate legal action.
