Results of the interplanetary competition!
21 October 2015
In the last competition, we asked you for your suggestions for planets on which to place the next Parcel Machines. Once again, you did not disappoint. The record number of entries once again proved your creativity, and the Jury debated the announcement of the results for a beaten (Earth) day.
Overmax selfie sticks + BT remote control receive:
Konrad for his response...
Obviously, the Parcelcells should start their intergalactic expansion with the planet Vulcan. Why? Well, the Vulcans inhabiting this planet were known for their rational and logical thinking. So for them, it would be obvious to use parcel post instead of the post office or other inventions. Saving time, money and nerves. As Spock used to say, "Live long and prosper".
Robert for his response...
On one of the planets in the Sombrero galaxy located in the southern part of the constellation Virgo, right on the border with the constellation Raven - beautiful views, practically zero competition, the regular lumps of the Paracels would contrast brilliantly with the spiral shape of the galaxy and thus automatically catch the eye.
Alexander for his response...
Start with the planet Dagobah from 'Star Wars' where Master Yoda lived, I wanted to send him a comb-over and I have no way. And he's sitting in his swamp waiting, poor guy....
Martha for her response...
On Saturn, of course! As we know Saturn* sells a lot, does a ton of shipping and could definitely use a Parcel Post shipping option! *I don't doubt you, but for the sake of clarification, I will write that I am referring here to the Saturn retail chain;)
Kasia for her response...
Hit Kepler-186f, because it's the only planet so similar to Earth! Since humanity is likely to settle there without Parcel Post it would be boring and difficult. Astronaut-settlers would pick up 'jars' from their hometowns, which InPost would deliver at the speed of light.
George for his reply...
In Przemyśl, I think that on this not very popular planet, so distant that it can be considered to exist in another galaxy, Paczkomaty :D would be useful. (However we like Przemysl!)
Kasia for her response...
The first planet should be the oldest one - Methuselah. It is already about 12.7 billion years old - that's how long it has been waiting for the Packet. Around it orbits an equally impatient white dwarf and a pulsar that is so excited by the arrival of the Packet that it is spinning at 100 revolutions per second. They already know that an intergalactic expansion of the Packetman is getting ready....
Christopher for his reply...
Brodo Asogi (Green Planet) - firstly, we'll make sure E.T. has definitely returned home, and if so, I'm sure everyone would like to send him some sort of souvenir from Earth as a token of gratitude for his wonderful childhood memories. Byle courier Can't cope with such an avalanche of parcels. It has to be you!!! ;)
Luke for his response...
Definitely at CERES. It is said that a city of aliens was discovered there, so they should be welcomed in the Slavic way with bread, salt, bacon and 50 good samogon :)
Monica for her response...
Definitely on the planet Unicorn. It is located about 140 intergalactic km north of Warsaw. Rumour has it that the inhabitants there are not very good at delivering packages. At the request of the inhabitants, this message is being created, they are counting on you to finally make their lives easier and help forgetful spouses deliver their Duck Festival presents on time Greetings, Jednorożec plenipotentiary, Monika
The LG G Watch Buddy W100, meanwhile, receives:
Paweł, who has set his sights on the classics of Polish cinema for young people,...
Definitely Matplanet. Despite adamant US denials and the hiding of irrefutable evidence in Area 51, Pi and Sigma visited Poland back in 1983 (although they revealed themselves many years later). It's time for a rematch and revisit, and an alliance with mathematical geniuses will allow InPost to take control of the galaxy. Beyond the galaxy, there will be no more boundaries. Even Spock will appreciate this.
Aga, who mocks her neighbour's...
an expansion to the planet of the apes would be the best, because the planet of the apes is the earth, but in a few hundred years, so the matter is prospective. there are already a lot of apes using parcel machines - I saw my neighbour, for example :D
Paul, who is probably not keen on cats....
On the planet Melmak. ALF IS WAITING FOR FASTER MAIL
Slawek, who already has an idea for an excellent business...
You should definitely start with Neptune. I'm planning to start a correspondence knitting course soon, and as soon as it's finished I'll start producing handmade woollen hats on an unprecedented scale. As Neptune is the furthest planet in our system and it's probably quite cold there, I predict that this is where I will have an amazing market for my warm woollen hats. I will therefore need a good, cheap and convenient supplier of my goods to Neptunians.
And Peter, who was one of the few who remembered the Star Trek universe and, in the process, included a potential logistical base in the expansion plans....
On Wolcan. The logical species living there will appreciate the advantages of being able to collect at any time and not having to wait for a courier. Besides, they are our closest allies in the United Federation of Planets :) Well, and the Enterprise would transport shipments quickly.
Justyna has gone above and beyond to convince us that the Death Star is in fact a planet - which we have meticulously checked, confirmed ('Death Star' is just a proper name) and... we are already thinking about the shops that stand to gain the most from Stormtroopers' access to Parcel Post.
Justina also anticipated the most frequently ordered goods....
the first parcel machine to be placed off the ground? on the Death Star, of course! because, as everyone knows, that's actually a planet :Darth Vader wouldn't be so pressurised if only lightsabres ordered from militaria.co.uk arrived the next day. in general, the dark side of the force could order tons of black lace underwear and they'd stop bothering with smashing others just.... you know.
Well, we know :-) We also know that it is Justyna who will receive an Apple iPhone 5s from us.
Congratulations to the winners! We will be in touch with you shortly by e-mail.
