Stars of athletics at the Silesian Stadium athletics meeting

In Chorzów, the first national athletics meeting of this unusual season was held. The prestigious competition took place at the Silesian Stadium, the legendary Witches' Cauldron. Great results at the competition were achieved by InPost SportTeam athletes Wojciech Nowicki and Konrad Bukowiecki.

You could write: finally! Polish athletics was in full swing and there was a lot to see. It is worth noting that there were so many people willing to take part in the inauguration of the season that the organisers increased the number of competitions from 10 to 12. The meeting was co-organised by the Silesian Province.

A fantastic competition was played by our Wojciech Nowicki, the javelin thrower who, in his best attempt, scored 78,52 m . It should be noted that this is the second result in the world this year. The bronze medallist from RIO has proven that he belongs to the world's top in the hammer throw.

Also competing at the Silesian Stadium was the Konrad Bukowiecki . The European indoor champion beat Michal Haratyka in a fierce competition, finishing the event with a score of 20,63 m . Juniors Jakub Szyszkowski (19.54m) and Sebastian Łukszo (19.13m) tried to match the results of Bukowiecki and Haratyka.
