Courier work and location
One of the most important factors influencing the courier work is the city or area in which it distributes parcels. The situation is different in large conurbations such as: Poznan, Opole, Elk czy Szczecin and differently in small towns or on the outskirts. The parcel provider should be very familiar with the topography of the area served, which will minimise the risk of delays and reduce stress levels. It usually takes several weeks to become very familiar with an area. Courier work in small towns is much quieter, as streets are more passable and addresses are easier to find. There is also usually no problem parking the car. The trouble arises, however, when the recipient does not have enough cash on him or her in case of cash on delivery - finding an ATM will be a challenge. Sometimes 100 to 300 km have to be driven in a day if longer distances are involved. In big cities, the routes are definitely shorter.

It is a good idea to list all addresses in progressive order before setting off - this will make travelling by car much more efficient. Courier work w Warsaw or another large city, e.g. Toruń or Szczecin can also prove to be an interesting challenge for people who like a lot going on and hate monotony. Also bear in mind that it can sometimes be difficult to find time to take a break and rest. Timetable courier is usually tight. Longer chats with encouraging customers are not always an option.
