How to extend the package storage time at a Parcel Locker?
Sudden change of plans? Or maybe something urgent has come up and you will have no time to collect your parcel? No worries! You can quickly and conveniently extend the time during which a package is stored in a Parcel Locker to get an additional 24h to collect it. You can now do this using the InPost Mobile app - this new service costs PLN 7.99 and can be used repeatedly.
How to extend the pick-up deadline in the InPost Mobile app?
- A yellow Extend button will appear in parcel details and in the parcel tracking list in the mobile app when there is less than 12 h left until the pick-up deadline (or 24 h for PUDO points with limited opening hours).
- All you need to do is click on the yellow button and pay for the service using your prefered payment method: BLIK, DotPay on-line transfer, and credit card.
- Done! Your parcel will wait for you another 24 h. Information about the updated parcel status will be sent to you by email. It will also be displayed in the InPost Mobile app on the parcel tracking screen and in the parcel details.
We will also inform you that you can extend the pick-up deadline in email messages and push notifications, which will appear on your smartphone screen. Remember that you must extend the pick-up deadline before the original deadline expires.
Extending the pick-up deadline using premium text messages is no longer available. The service will now be available only through the app.
