InPost Allegro services have 20% share of Allegro listings

Allegro InPost services are available in 20% of the listings on Allegro, the most popular Polish e-commerce platform. This means that over 11 million listings already have deliveries available via InPost. At the end of 2015, InPost's reach on Allegro was half that.

"In one year we have almost doubled our reach on Allegro and are present in more than twice as many listings as at the end of 2015. This comes as no surprise as we are the only company in Poland to offer the widest range of services from Parcel Post® InPost to courier services, including premium same-day courier services. In addition, the price of our services includes free return of goods to the sender." - said Rafał Brzoska, CEO of Integer.pl Group, owner of the InPost brand.

He added that, most importantly, the share of InPost's services on Allegro is growing all the time. "We are working to handle the growing volumes and to adapt our infrastructure to them. This year alone, we will install 1,000 new Parcel Machines in Poland, so that even in the smallest town you can pick up a parcel at a Parcel Machine. We are also introducing a number of improvements in the customer service department. We will soon be launching live chat, IVR services and significantly increasing the number of employees in our call centre so that we can easily absorb the increasing number of enquiries from our customers as our services grow." - Brzoska pointed out.

Recently, the InPost Group reported that it closed 2016 with a 142 % increase in the number of parcels handled. The growth is mainly due to the courier segment, which recorded 405 % more volume last year than in 2015. Strong growth was recorded by e-commerce registered mail, which gained 149 % in 2016. The InPost Parcel Machines® segment continued to grow steadily, handling 79 % more parcels compared to 2015.

InPost is not only one of the most important logistics operators for e-commerce in Poland, but also an increasingly popular operator in international traffic. In December 2016. The Group launched a new service that allows, via Polish Paczkomaty, to send a parcel directly to Paczkomaty in the UK, Czech Republic and Slovakia. To most of the other 15 EU countries, a parcel can be sent at a Parcel Machine or InPost's own branch, and it is collected via a courier or at a stationary partner branch.
