Christmas is a magical but also 'hectic' time. We know how difficult and demanding it is to complete all the presents in time, especially against the backdrop of a flurry of Christmas duties and plans. To meet your expectations, we are pleased to announce that you no longer have to rush - we are introducing guaranteed delivery before Christmas!

In order to bring you closer to the details of the offer, we have prepared questions and answers which will dispel (we hope!) all your doubts related to the delivery of Christmas presents to Paczkomaty InPost machines of your choice. We invite you to read the material below.

Is there an additional charge for the guaranteed delivery service?
No, the service is completely free of charge.

When do I have a chance of delivery before Christmas? What status should my parcel have so that I can be sure it will arrive before Christmas?
In order for a parcel to reach you before Christmas, it must be delivered to InPost by 6 p.m. Depending on the parcel ordered, this means respectively:

  • The parcel must be handed over to the InPost courier by the sender by no later than Friday, 20 December, by 6 p.m. This means that before this hour, the parcel should have the status of "Collected by courier from the customer".
  • The parcel must be placed by the sender in the Parcel Machine by Friday, 20 December, by 6 p.m. This means that before this hour, the parcel should have the following status "Shipped at the Parcel Post".
  • The parcel must be handed over to the POP (Parcel Processing Point) by Friday, 20 December, by 6 p.m. This means that before this hour, the parcel should have a status of "Broadcast at POP" .
  • The parcel must be delivered directly to an InPost branch by Friday, 20 December, by 6 p.m. This means that before this hour, the parcel should have a status of "Adopted in the Ward". .

Does the guarantee apply nationwide?
Yes, it applies to parcels sent throughout Poland and to all InPost branches.

How can I check if the seller has sent the parcel by 6pm?
Your package should receive one of the following statuses on Friday before 6pm:

  • "Received by courier" - in the event that the shop/shipper has handed over the package directly courier .
  • "Shipped in Parcel Machine" - if the shop/sender has sent the parcel in a Parcel Machine.
  • "Shipped at POP" - if the shop/sender has shipped the package at POP.
  • "Accepted at Branch" - if the shop/sender has sent the parcel directly at an InPost Branch.

If the status of your parcel is "Ready to send" - please contact the shop. It is possible that the shop has prepared your parcel but has not handed it over to the courier or has not posted it personally. If this is the case, your package may not reach you before Christmas.

Does the sender have to place parcels in the Parcel Machine by 6pm?
Yes. In order for your parcel to reach you by 3 p.m. on 24 December, it must be placed in a Parcel Post by 6 p.m. on Friday, 20 December.

What if the sender delivers the parcel to POP by 6pm? Will the guarantee of delivery before Christmas apply?
In order for the parcel to reach you by 3pm on 24 December, the handover of the parcel to POP must take place by 6pm on Friday 20 December at the latest.

What exactly does "before Christmas" mean? When exactly will the parcels be placed in the Parcel Post?
We guarantee that parcels will be delivered to you by a maximum of 3pm on 24 December, but we will do our best to get them to you even sooner.

What if the parcel is stored in a Parcel Machine or POP and not delivered to the Parcel Machine of my choice?
In the case of an overcrowded Parcel Machine, the parcel will be transferred to a MPOK (Mobile Parcel Machine) or another Parcel Machine located near the target Parcel Machine. On 23 and 24 December, parcels will be stored only in Parcel Machines so that they can be collected 24/7. On these days, we will not store parcels in POP.

What does the selected Parcel Machine mean? Is it a Parcel Machine selected at the time of purchase or is it a Storage Parcel Machine?
Selected Parcel Machine means the Parcel Machine selected at the time of purchase. In the case of an overcrowded Parcel Machine, the parcel will be forwarded to a MPOK (Mobile Parcel Machine) or another Parcel Machine located near the destination Parcel Machine. However, every effort will be made to ensure that the parcel is available for collection at the selected Parcel Machine.

Does the guarantee apply only to parcel post or also to courier deliveries?
The delivery guarantee applies to parcel post parcels, But we will do our best to ensure that courier parcels also arrive before Christmas.

Are parcels ordered for POP covered by the guarantee?
However, we recommend that before ordering to a particular POP you check what days and times the POP is open, as the opening hours of the outlets on 24-31 December may differ from the standard.

Does the guarantee only cover placement in the Parcel Machine? What if the parcels are placed in the machine by Christmas Eve, but the Parcel Machine fails?
In the event of a Parcel Machine breakdown, we will make every effort to ensure that all parcels placed in the Parcel Machine are available for collection. In the case of a complicated breakdown, parcels will be handed over for delivery at an MPOK (Mobile Parcel Machine) located near the originally selected Parcel Machine, or will be handed over for delivery in another way which we will agree with you individually, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

What if the shop informs me that the parcel has been placed in a Parcel Machine by 6pm, but I do not receive information from InPost that the parcel has been registered?
If a parcel is sent by Parcel Post, the customer should receive the status of the parcel as "Shipped in Parcel Post" by 6 p.m. on Friday at the latest. If this status does not appear, it means that the shop did not successfully send the parcel within the required time limit. In such a situation, please contact the shop directly.

What about oversize parcel shipments? Does the delivery guarantee also apply here?
In the case of parcels whose dimensions do not meet the requirements (wrong size designation, excessively large dimensions), the delivery guarantee does not apply.

What if the package, despite the guarantee, does not arrive? Should I make a claim straight away?
If a parcel has been posted and received by Friday 20 December, 6pm, one of the following statuses:

  • "Collected by courier" - where the shop has handed the parcel directly to the courier.
  • "Shipped in a Parcel Machine" - if the shop has sent the parcel in a Parcel Machine.
  • "Shipped at POP" - if the shop has shipped the package at POP.
  • "Accepted at Branch" - if the shop has posted the parcel directly at an InPost branch....

but has not been delivered by 24 December by 3 p.m., the customer has the right to make a complaint in accordance with the applicable regulations. Each complaint is considered individually.
