No, you won’t be charged any extra fees.
Does the Children’s Day delivery guarantee apply to all branches? Will all InPost branches be delivering parcels?
Yes, the guarantee applies to all branches.
Will the Weekend Parcel service be available on Saturday 30 May?
The Weekend Parcel service will operate as normal on Saturday 30 May. However, the delivery guarantee does not require you to purchase this option.
What happens if the sender delivers the parcel to a Paczkomat machine after the deadline has passed? Will the Children’s Day Delivery Guarantee still apply?
The Children’s Day delivery guarantee applies to parcels posted via a Paczkomat parcel locker and via InPost courier, with collection by a Paczkomat machine.
To ensure your parcel arrives by 1 June, it must be placed in a Paczkomat parcel locker by 12:00 noon on Saturday 30 May at the latest.
How can I check whether the seller sent the parcel on Saturday, 30 May?
Your parcel should be assigned one of the following statuses on Saturday 30 May:
- „ Collected by a courier ” – the parcel has been collected by the courier and is on its way to the InPost branch, from where it will continue its journey.
- „ Sent via Paczkomat ” – the parcel has been posted by the sender and will be with you very soon. To ensure it arrives in time for Children’s Day, the status must be updated by 12:00.
If the parcel status in the app says “ Shipment created ” or " In preparation " – please contact the shop.
What does ‘1 June’ mean? By what time will parcels be placed in the Paczkomat?
This means that parcels will be delivered to the parcel locker by Monday, 1 June at the latest, during courier operating hours.
Does the guarantee apply to all deliveries: both those to Paczkomat parcel lockers and those by courier?
The Children’s Day delivery guarantee applies to parcels delivered to a Paczkomat parcel locker. You can choose any method of dispatch: either via a Paczkomat parcel locker or by courier.
Does the Children’s Day delivery guarantee apply to parcels ordered for collection at a Parcel Point and those delivered by courier?
No, the guarantee applies to parcels ordered for collection from Paczkomat machines.
What if the parcel is deposited on time but the Parcel Locker breaks down?
In the event of a Paczkomat machine malfunction, we will do our utmost to ensure that all parcels are delivered to the selected Paczkomat machine. If this is not possible, they will be delivered by other means, agreed individually with the recipient, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Does the delivery guarantee also cover oversized parcels (those where the sender has incorrectly declared the dimensions or weight of the parcel)?
No. For parcels sent via a Parcel Locker that do not meet the requirements due to incorrect size labelling, excessive dimensions or weight, the delivery guarantee does not apply.
Despite the guarantee, the parcel did not reach the recipient on time. Am I entitled to compensation? Should I make a complaint?
If your parcel was posted and had one of the following statuses by Saturday, 30 May:
- „ Collected by a courier ” – when the courier collected the parcel as part of a regular collection or an on-demand collection,
- „ Sent via Parcel Locker ” (by 12:00 noon) – when the Sender has posted the parcel at a Parcel Locker,
…and if it has not been delivered by 1 June, the customer is entitled to make a complaint in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions. Each complaint is dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
The Children’s Day delivery guarantee applies only to parcels sent to a Parcel Locker. It does not apply to parcels sent to a home address or to a Parcel Point.
Does the Children’s Day Delivery Guarantee also apply to parcels sent from another country?
No. Parcels sent from abroad, as well as those sent abroad, are not covered by a delivery guarantee. For international shipments, delivery times may depend on factors such as customs procedures, transport conditions and international transport.
To ensure the parcel is delivered by 1 June, what is the latest I can book a courier? Does the time the order is generated count, or the time the courier collects the parcel?
To ensure delivery on 1 June, the parcel must be placed in a Paczkomat parcel locker by 12:00 noon on Saturday 30 May at the latest.
When generating a label, do I need to select an additional option to ensure the parcel is covered by the guaranteed delivery service until 1 June?
No, you do not need to select any additional options when generating the label.
Does the delivery guarantee cover cash-on-delivery parcels?
Yes, the delivery guarantee covers cash-on-delivery parcels sent to a Paczkomat parcel locker.
Does the delivery guarantee cover parcels sent by private individuals?
Yes, the delivery guarantee covers parcels sent by private individuals for collection from a Paczkomat parcel locker.
Does the guarantee apply to all parcel dimensions (including size and weight)?
The delivery guarantee applies to parcels of standard size and weight, in accordance with the terms and conditions of service. For parcels of non-standard sizes or those exceeding the permitted weight limits, the delivery guarantee may not apply. Before posting a parcel, it is worth ensuring that it meets the size and weight requirements.
If I change the delivery method from Courier to Parcel Locker, will the parcel still be guaranteed to arrive by Children’s Day?
No, parcels that are redirected to Paczkomat machines are not guaranteed to be delivered by 1 June.
